Mother’s Day is quickly approaching upon us. Not exactly sure what to do about it? Well, you might want to consider doing an activity with your mom rather than just purchasing a gift.
Here are some suggestions for indoor and outdoor activities…
1. Cook their favorite meal or get takeout from their favorite restaurant. Arrange the food on pretty plates or even china. Be sure to decorate the table with flowers and tea-light candles.
2. Enjoy a sparkling non-alcoholic “cocktail” as a way to fancy-up afternoon snack time. Add sparkling juice or bubbly water to lemonade, juice, or iced tea. Then, put it in a pretty glass that’s used for wine or champagne.
3. Stroll through the mall to shop or even window shop. Indoor malls have the advantage of being temperature controlled. Generally, malls have ample seating for taking breaks, plenty of snacks and drinks, and lots of bathrooms.
4. Art lovers may enjoy visiting a nearby museum. A good conversation starter is to ask them open ended questions about the pieces they like best.
