Happy Independence Day Seniors!

Independence is just around the corner! Time to celebrate the 4th in a spirited way!

Independence Day Volleyball TournamentDivide residents into two-person teams as you have them compete against one another in patriotic volleyball games. You can even use red, white, and blue volleyball! Use a typical tournament style to have each winning team play another winning team, until you end up with your facility’s Independence Day volleyball champions. Decorate the field with patriotic balloons too!

American Geography ChallengeEncourage residents to compete in a fun American geography game in teams of women and men. Each team will have to put their memory and knowledge of geography to the test! Encourage family members and staff members to join in on the challenge too. A trivia challenge featuring American Presidents is also a fun bonus idea.

Fly a Kite HigherInvite residents to decorate patriotic kites to fly outdoors to see whose kite can fly the highest. Pair residents into teams of two, in which one member is holding the kite string and the other is helping the kite get off the ground to catch the wind.

We hope you enjoy these engaging Fourth of July activities. However, if you happen to need some extra convincing, then please feel free to join our senior community to connect and communicate with others you have attended.

Now, on another note, we like to take this opportunity to remind you about our Senior Trade Shows Expos! Check out our flyer to save the dates! Just click for more information, on registering to attend or becoming a sponsor. In the meantime, please like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram.
